Fairfax, VA: DC-Camera, based in Washington D.C, is the premiere motion picture and photography equipment rental facility in the Mid-Atlantic. The company has provided exceptional service and equipment to professional filmmakers and photographers for over 20 years. Founder Erich Roland has been a staple in the area’s film industry and will be missed, but he is confident that the new owner will continue the DC Camera legacy, saying in a recent announcement:

“After 20 years of growing DC-Camera from nothing to a serious production rental facility in the Mid-Atlantic, the time has come to pass the torch. DC-Camera has a new owner as of today who will bring a new perspective, youthful energy, and contemporary ideas, and be better able to roll with the coming challenges. Rest assured that very little will change at the store.”

He continued, saying, “[Our customers] will still receive the same excellent service by the same friendly faces you have come to know so well over the years. I want to thank our staff for their dedication and loyalty. The growth of DC-Camera would not have been possible without their hard work. [They] will continue to make DC-Camera what it has been and will continue to be: the best there is! The good aspects are not going to change at DC-Camera, and in fact, some parts will get better with new youthful energy!”
