Dan is the founder of Quantive.  Dan leads Quantive’s middle market M&A advisory practice, and additionally is an experienced and sought-after valuation expert; his point of reference goes beyond debits and credits. His M&A background gives keen insight into what entrepreneurs most want to know: “What’s it really worth?” He is a seasoned valuation professional, having completed over a thousand valuations in various industries across the U.S. Dan is a frequent speaker and author, having been published and quoted in publications such as FortuneUS News & World Report, Financial Advisor MagazineBanking New York, and the Washington Business Journal amongst others.

Sara is the Managing Director and practice lead for Quantive’s Business Performance Group.  She’s a founder, management consultant and former COO who has led professional services divisions for companies with clients in the private and public sectors.  Quantive acquired her company in 2023, completing the end-to-end service offering of business valuation through value creation to M&A exits.  Sara helps founder-led companies tackle “What’s Next?” with proven strategies to grow and operate businesses more profitably, as well as how to plan an exit.  Her specialty is setting businesses on a path to growth while balancing owner goals and looking at the bigger picture.

Ed provides investment, income and estate tax advice to business owners, corporate executives and high net worth individuals. He and his team of financial professionals provide goal-based financial strategies for the tax efficient and successful transfer of family wealth, planning for retirement, the sale and succession of business interests and achievement of philanthropic goals. Ed brings over 30 years’ experience to his role at Fiduciary Trust International. His prior experience was at BNY Mellon Wealth Management and the Ayco Corporation, a national financial planning firm. He is a graduate of Fordham University with a BS in Psychology and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School admitted to practice in New York.

Prior to joining SunTrust Wealth Management, Julio was a Private Client Advisor with U.S. Trust, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, in the DC Metro area.

Doug is co-chair of Venable’s East Coast Estate Planning Group. Doug is a tax attorney who represents high net worth individuals on tax and wealth planning matters and focuses on wills, trust agreements, insurance, and charitable giving programs. He oversees all aspects of estate planning, including estate administration tasks and multigenerational wealth transfer strategies. He develops innovative approaches to structuring income, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. Doug also handles transfer tax planning for clients married to non-U.S. citizens, and to individuals living outside the United States.
