Biography
Matt Whitaker is an experienced M&A advisor with over a decade of direct deal involvement in middle-market and lower-middle-market transactions. His career uniquely combines investment banking, entrepreneurship, and consulting expertise.
Matt founded, grew, and sold Smart Payment Solutions, LLC, a financial services and payment processing company. He previously served as COO of iFinance and held consulting roles at Capital One and AT Kearney Management Consultants. He also worked as a production manager at a Procter and Gamble manufacturing facility.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Matt served four years as a naval officer, primarily as Gunnery Officer on USS Comte de Grasse (DD 974). He holds a B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Beyond his role at Quantive, Matt remains an active entrepreneur who owns and operates multiple businesses.
